Thai game fowl

We keep more than one family of Thai. We have a family of Hmong Thai which throw many pumpkin roosters. They are “relatively pure” Thai which have maintained the breed as I received them from local Hmong community. Pumpkin is a heterozygous genetic expression of black genes and blond genes. Whites also appear in this family. Hens tend to be penciled brown.

Whites appear in this family. His Father is NQL pumpkin Hmong Thai rooster over Cricket, a blond Thai hen with a trace of Shamo in her.
This is NQL (Noob Qes Loj) of many good birds. He sired the white rooster shown previously.

NQL sired the white rooster shown before him (when put over Cricket, a blond Thai).

One branch of our Thai family has a trace of Blond Shamo cross (who was Grandfather of one blond Thai hen named Cricket). I shall add photo of Shamo x grandfather when I can.

Another family of our Thais, some grey “Blue” hens are being crossed with Blk Red Ga Noi…we shall see what this calculated experiment produces. Note that I AM STILL BUILDING this SITE so please bear with me as I slowly get more photos posted. I was born way before PC computers … I am not very fast at learning this technology. Thank You.

Ayam Cemani

We keep a small flock of Ayam Cemani, the ALL BLACK chicken – black all through,… even including black bones. The Ayam Cemani is a precious sacred bird with special healing qualities. We usually sell chicks locally. Sometimes we might have adults available – if we haven’t sold out of chicks first! Ayam Cemani are rare. and very much sought after so I usually sell out quickly. (I am building site slowly !! more photos shall be posted later. )

Ayam Cemani

Well that’s Ayam Cemani for you. An all black bird all through – even the bones are black. A precious and sacred chicken it be. We occasionally offer these Ayam Cemani. This rare breed is highly sought after, so we often sell out locally. We offer chicks (Locally only!!) of this breed. I shall list adults for shipping when we haven’t sold out locally…(or by special request with deposit).

Compare these to Svart Hona Breed, (which also we raise). The Svart Hona is almost indistinguishable from the Ayam Cemani (from which it is believed Svart Hona were bred). It is considered a more cold hardy breed since it was developed in Sweden over many many generations. But otherwise it is very hard if not impossible to tell the breeds apart from each other. (Go to Svart Hona Catagory to see them.)

Sumatra

Devorador

Devorador, (above), is a fullsized Black Rooster (5#3oz). He is sire to offspring for Spring/Summer 2019. He is an amusing SOB. Meaner than my Ga Noi. 🦖 NFS. He is our (only serious) breeder for 2019.

Napolean

Napolean, above, is a very small dunn black Rooster. “Bantamesque” His line is uncertain… . So be his fate. But we will see what hatches this April 2019… .
